To help achieve their vision of a decarbonised future they are seeking a highly talented and motivated Senior Project Manager/Lead Engineer with strong background in fuel cells
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily activities
- Project and resource planning

- Experience in fuel cells is a big plus
- Development of mechanical activities at the fuel cell systems and products level by applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics and heat transfer engineering
- Design, implement and validate various solutions for engineering tasks
- Propose new ideas for fuel cell system design and optimisation of components
- Provide technical input in discussions with internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with other team members regarding system design, interfaces and functionalities
- Participate in various hands-on activities in the labs
- Liaise with suppliers and procurement of new components and solutions
- Prepare reports on failure mode and analysis, test plans and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
Skills and Experience Required:
- PhD, MSc/BSc level or equivalent in Mechanical or related disciplines
- Knowledge and experience in fuel cell and its applications is mandatory
- At least 10 years of previous working experience in the field of fuel cells is mandatory
- In-depth understanding and implementation skills of thermodynamic and physics principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment with the possibility of changing priorities
- Experience with a 3D CAD software such as SolidWORKS
- Strong communication skills with internal and external customers
- Team player with the ability to function autonomously
- Good understanding of design and risk analysis tools such as FMEA and DFMEA
- Experience with Product Data Management (PDM) system management is a plus
- Excellent spoken and written knowledge of English is mandatory
